artache is a not-for-profit organisation which was created with the mission of taking art and artists beyond the established spaces of museums, turning the fabric of the city into spaces for the exhibition and public usability of art itself, and bringing to the consciousness of the general public the works of artists and musicians normally consumed only by the elite.

artache have concentrated their energies on the city of Milan in the staging of site-specific projects, with particular attention to places of worship. Thanks to this widespread operation, Milano is now the first European metropolis to permanently show in various places of worship – of city-wide and/or national importance – projects by some of the biggest names in contemporary art.
